The Sewing Family's purpose is to change lives through sustainable sewing practice and inclusivity within our neighbourhoods. What does that mean exactly? Just this, we work with our local councils, organisations and businesses to provide safe sewing teaching in workrooms for those who are disadvantaged in our society.

 We teach useful skills in sewing, customisation and sustainable fashion garment making to training beneficiaries for potential machinist employment within the fashion industry, we believe sewing is for everyone!
